The making of an English cherry and burr maple coffee table.

This is a commission for the drawing room of a Georgian manor house.  A coffee table to sit between two long, white comfy sofas in front of the fire.  The brief is to complement the symmetry, panelling and feel of a Georgian room, but with a relaxed and not-too-formal modern piece.  Here are some videos about the making of the table.

English oak bespoke garden bench

This is a type of bench that I first made in the spring of 2010, but each individual bench is tailored to the client and the garden.  The one in these videos was commissioned as a birthday present for her husband by a client who has created a lovely home from an old Cotswold barn.  It will sit in a gap in a beech hedge on the far side of the garden, so must have a striking silhouette.
